Since its launch on 26th March 2020, Weqaya has been providing the citizens, residents and tourists in the UAE accurate information related to Covid-19. The main objective is to position the platform as a thought leader in terms of content and information related to the UAE Government and COVID-19 to the targeted communities. The 6 Feet to Defeat campaign comprised of key visuals that emphasized on the importance of social distancing and created a sense of national pride while citizens and residents complied with the stay home initiative led by the UAE government.
Since September 2020, the team has been managing Weqaya’s social media channels (13 platforms in total), Sound Cloud and website content – in 5 languages.
The team creates daily content and visuals, manages the community management and assesses the platforms’ performance in order to create conversation and raise awareness around the information and updates shared. On a monthly basis to increase our awareness and positioning, we create unique campaigns driven by a main video, key visuals and a set of optimized ads on various digital platforms.
