Kareem Farid the Managing Director at Leap Comms who combines his vast experiences, creativity and entrepreneurship to shape communications for audiences across the world.
As Managing Director, Kareem is responsible for providing a 360 approach to client positioning, campaigns and strategies, ensuring the development, awareness and recognition of the client’s brands.
Previously, Kareem Farid was the lead of strategic digital storytelling and content production at APCO Worldwide. He established the practice and led the growth of the practice across 5 different offices. Additionally, he has worked as a broadcast journalist in Egypt for 7 years. He has successfully managed campaigns across Government, Corporate, Lifestyle and Technology sectors for clients such as McKinsey, Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, TECOM Group, Dubai Properties, Papal Visit to the UAE and PADA to name a few.
His work in the region has led his team to win multiple awards in the region such as MEPRA Awards for Best campaign in Kuwait, Best use of integrated campaign and Best use of video in 2018 and 2019.
Alexandra is the Head of Strategy at Leap Comms who specializes in digital strategies, client management and overall team lead.
Before joining Leap Comms, Alexandra worked as an Associate Account Director at APCO Worldwide where she spent 5 years servicing a diverse range of clients in the retail, real estate, financial and government sectors. Some of her clients included Meraas (Retail, Leisure and Corporate), TECOM Group, Dubai Design District, Dubai Properties, DIFC, Dubai Development Authority (prev. Dubai Creative Clusters Authority), Kate Spade New York and the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development to name a few.
Alexandra has successfully worked together with her clients guiding and supporting them in achieving their respective KPIs and business objectives online. Additionally, Alexandra covered more than 50 on-ground events for her clients ranging from the smallest to the largest ones like Pope Francis’ UAE visit, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, and Dubai Design Week (Gold SABRE Award finalists 2017).
Andrea is the Head of Intelligence at Leap Comms who specializes in digital analytics and digital & traditional communications. She combines her experiences in the MENA region and India using creativity and analytics driven strategies to shape a brand/entity’s story for audiences across the MENA region.
Before joining Leap, Andrea worked at APCO Worldwide for six years, where she worked across different functions and led the analytics and media buying team. Additionally, she also supported large events in the region and international roadshows through content creation, visual content and tracking the campaign performance post event. She was a core member of the team that launched various prominent outdoor lifestyle destinations in Dubai and was recently a part of the teams that managed historical events in the UAE which led to her team winning the PRCA digital award for best use of reporting and measurement in a campaign in 2019.
She has previously worked with WAT Consult, a digital agency based in Mumbai, where she managed corporate and lifestyle brands managing their day to day activities, social campaigns and influencer engagement campaigns.
Andrea has a master’s degree in Media and Public Relations from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, where she worked with the North East Autism Society as a part of a six months live project supporting the charity’s relaunch campaign.
Jasmin Berry is a storyteller who works with clients to help them take their brands to the next level by identifying both their strengths and weaknesses to help them achieve their objectives and reach their goals.
Jasmin believes that behind every successful business is an inspiring story that needs to be told, and she is always here to help present it in the best possible way.
Jasmin has spent 4 years as a content creator at Lynks.com, an e-commerce company/shopping service where she helped the Egyptian brand reach the GCC area and expand their services to KSA & Oman.
She worked as a fashion & beauty editor/Video blogger for 4 years at supermama.me, an Arabic parenting portal directed to mothers in the Middle East where she helped building their fashion & beauty section and fashion playlist on YouTube.
She also helped improve the social media presence for Fatafeat TV channel, Kasra.co ( a Qatari online publishing website specialized in Arabic content) , Skinny Molly, a rock band in the USA, and Bey2ollak.com a traffic related Egyptian service.
Jasmin has her own YouTube channel & Facebook page where she vlogs about fashion, beauty and travel. Her Facebook page has over 200K followers, and her YouTube channel has almost 40K subscribers.
Jasmin holds a B.S degree in Computer Science from Zagazig university in Egypt.
Mishal is a Graphic Designer for Leap Comms. In this role, Mishal is responsible for producing digital, print and other creatives for large campaigns and digital content. She has been working in the UAE since 2017, with a variety of experience across various organizations. She believes that “there’s never just one option” be at work or personal life.
Mishal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from SAE institute Dubai.
Christine is responsible for all aspects of office management in Leap’s office.
Christine believes that “there are no problems, only solutions” be at work or personal life.
Christine has been working in the UAE since 2013, with a proven track record working across office management, HR, PRO, reception and marketing.
Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from St. Joseph’s College of Quezon City in Manila.
